The name Sixty61 comes from the grade of aluminum we machine most of our parts from. 6061 T6 aluminum is commonly referred to as aircraft quality aluminum. Sixty61 sportbike accessories was started by a couple of guys that wanted their sportbikes to stand apart from the rest. After making sportbike parts for our personal bikes we began getting a lot of requests to make the same sportbike parts and accessories for other people. The local demand got too big for 2 guys working on one machine, so we decided to form what is now Sixty61 LLC.

In 2004, Sixty61 was the first company to introduce spiked windscreen bolts and spiked frame sliders to the sportbike market. In 2007, Keith Capizzi buys out Co-founder Luke McCracken to be the soul owner of Sixty61sportbike accessories. Later that year Sixty61 introduce Bling Bolts. In 2008, Sixty61 introduced the Gatling style frame sliders and sportbike bar ends. In 2009 Sixty61 was at it again and we added the sportbike axle covers and sportbike fork covers to the gatling family.

Sixty61 strives to set trends and give other companies sportbike products worth copying. Remember, many will copy but there is only one original, Sixty61 Sportbike Parts and Accessories.
