Description
Evotech Yamaha R1 No Cut Frame Sliders for the 2009 models. CNC machined Acetal heads, fitted to High quality Black Anodised Aluminium spacers. These Crash Protector Bobbins are designed to give you maximum protection in the event of those unfortunate incidents that occasionally do happen. Supplied with instructions and all fittings-to be fitted in minutes.

Designed to be "No Drill" to offer increased rigidity and frame protection (and save the hit and miss of drilling your fairing). All of our Crash protector kits are supplied with Industry Standard De-embrittled bolts for even more peace of mind.

Overall, I really like these frame sliders. There was only one real setback to them. The installation process was a little more difficult than I had expected it to be. There were no installation instructions included with the kit. There was only a parts list and diagram. The parts list included is written in Italian, so the picture was the only real useful part.

They are only frame sliders after all, so installation is still quite possible for the average person with any mechanical skills and a tool box. You just may have a couple of moments where you get frustrated. To me, it was entirely worth it though, because I did not want to cut my plastics for any reason. Once installed on the bike, the frame sliders look excellent.
